Happy 2016 to all! Imagine my surprise when I went to post a blog at the end of the year and the template I was using for my website was no longer supported by WP, my site was inaccessible even to me, and my new New Year’s resolution shifted to rebuilding my entire site on a new template. Ewwww.

Anyway, I think we are up & running again, although there is still copy I want to change, updates I need to make, and A LOT of little layout tweaks…but all in good time. 🙂  So keep checking back for new content and improvements.  Oh, and please let me know if there are things that aren’t working properly on my site or mistakes you see so that I can fix them!

So, here are my actual New Year’s Resolutions for 2016. Big picture…Commit To My Self.  How???  Mostly by keeping things simple and achievable to increase my likelihood of compliance and success.

So, here they are:

  • Listen to more music – it makes me happy, it makes me dance, and I just don’t turn on the i-Pod dock enough, so when I am cooking dinner, checking email, etc it’s time to bust out the i-Tunes playlists!
  • Commit to 5 minutes per day of either Qi Gong practice or Kototama sound meditation – if you want more info on either of those, just talk to me and I will share.  I think I should be able to find 5 minutes in my day to do one of these practices.
  • Roll the soles of my feet out on a tennis ball before bed.  This will bring energy down out of the head and help settle and ground you to get ready for sleepy time.  Again, only will take about 5 minutes, so why not do it?
  • Drink more water.  This is on my list every year and is still a work in progress, especially living in an arid state like CO.

All simple, all very achievable, and all will benefit my overall well-being and nourish my body and spirit.  Best to all in the new year and with a little effort and commitment to your self, may all your New Year’s Resolutions come to fruition too!
